COMPANY HISTORY
Founded in 1998 by Professor PhD. Eng. Alexandru Ozunu, the company has established its skills in the environmental and emergency domains in over a 23-year period of activity, delivering a wide range of services registered in the National List of environmental studies experts, with competencies in the elaboration of a variety of environmental studies:

Environmental Impact Assessment Studies,
Environmental balance sheets,
Site Reports, Environmental Management Reports (Baseline Reports),
Safety Reports
OCON ECORISC L.T.D. is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Cluj (2010) and of the Romanian Environmental Association – 1998 (2009).
1998
Founded in 1998, OCON ECORISC L.T.D. is among the first organizations in Romania with competences in informing, training, planning and consultancy in the field of risk assessment and emergency management.
2004
In 2004, the organization applied for and received certification as Lead Environmental Auditor and Assessor, to perform environmental studies and environmental impact assessment studies, for domains 4, 5, 6, 9 and 12.
2007
In 2007 the organization implements and certifies the Quality Management System according to SR EN ISO 9001, the certification entity (AEROQ Bucharest) performing surveillance/recertification audits in order to verify compliance of activities and processes within the organization with the reference standard.
Also, in 2007, OCON ECORISC S.R.L., establishes as a founding member, the CN APELL – RO Foundation, which is focused on the management and mitigation of natural and technological risks and hazards.
2008
In 2008, the certificates allowing OCON ECORISC to perform environmental studies and environmental impact assessment studies are renewed, as they were valid until October 2010.
2009
In 2009 the organization submits for consideration to the Certification Commission of the Ministry of the Environment and Forests, the Certification file for the elaboration of the documentation for obtaining the water management permit/authorization, the certificate being renewed in 2013, 2016, 2019 (certificate no. 359/2019).
2010
In 2010, out of consideration for employees, collaborators, customers, environment and society, the organization decides to implement an Integrated Management System for quality, environment, occupational health and safety, social responsibility and information security. This integrated management system was certified in January 2011 by the certification body AEROQ Bucharest.
2014
In 2014 the organization submits the attestation file and obtains the Certificate of Registration in the National Register of Environmental Protection Study Developers at position no. 105. The certificate is later renewed in 2015, 2020, 2021.
2021
Since 2021, the organization has implemented and certified an integrated Quality-Environment management system.
